Great opportunity to join a successful Engineering business in the Crydon area with 70 staff. This well-established company has strong stable history in Precision Engineering and Fabrication, requires a Trades Assistance / Forklift driver for various duties.
This is a new position that will involve various tasks. It is necessary to be flexible with skills and be willing to move around the section to keep up with demand. Everyone within the workshop works as a team and most people are multi-skilled.
Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include (but not limited to) being responsible for Mechanical assembly, Machine operation, Forklift Driving, Trade assistant and Factory Hand / all rounder.
You will assist with machine loading and operation, and assist trades people with some assembly work. Some work is large and heavy and may require lifting, we also need someone that can use hand tools and has an understanding of assembling components.
