Great opportunity to join a successful Engineering business in the south eastern suburbs, this well-established company has strong stable history in non-electric starters and racing motorcycles is looking for an experienced person such as a fitter machinist or mechanic for manual machining work, and precision assembly work.
This company manufactures their own product which is sold world wide plus (at times) components for the motorcycle racing industry. We need either a machinist-fitter or mechanic to assist in the manufacturing and assembling components.
This new position that will involve various tasks. It is necessary to be flexible with skills and be willing to move around the section to keep up with demand.
Reporting to the workshop Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) being responsible for maintenance and repairs and set up on Hydraulic, Air and Spring Starters. Trouble shooting and diagnosis and commissioning Starters. At times you may also get involved in motorcycle racing components.
